New Ulm Police
• Responded to an alarm at the city impound lot, 427 22nd St. N. at 5:47 p.m. March 10. A 16-year-old New Ulm male was found parked in a motor vehicle. An officer smelled marijuana and cited the male for marijuana possession and marijuana wax possession. A report was sent to the Brown County Attorney’s Office.
• Responded to a trespass complaint at Thrift & More, 1607 S. Broadway at 8:31 p.m. March 10. A 51-year-old New Ulm woman was suspected of theft of donation bags. A report will be sent to the New Ulm City Attorney’s Office.
• Stopped a vehicle at Broadway and 18th St. N. at 11:02 p.m. March 10. A 38-year-old New Ulm man was cited for driving after revocation and no proof of insurance.
• Stopped a vehicle at Minnesota St. and 15th St. S. at 3:54 p.m. March 11. A 23 year-old New Ulm man was arrested and taken to jail for a failure to appear in court warrant.
• Received a theft report of a catalytic converter at 5:31 p.m. March 11 taken from a vehicle at 520 S. Valley. The loss was estimated at $1,000.
• Stopped a vehicle at 12:18 a.m. March 12 at 20th St. S. and Valley St. A 50-year-old New Ulm man was found to have fifth-degree drug possession and driving after cancellation. A report was sent to the Brown County Attorney’s Office.
• Received a theft report of a trailer at Peterson Motors, 1912 N. Washington at 8:02 a.m. March 12. The loss was estimated at $7,000. A report was done for documentation.
