New Ulm Police
• Responded to a two-vehicle crash at 15th South and Minnesota St. at 9:21 a.m. March 5. A 2017 GMC driven by Christine Suess, 60, New Ulm, attempted to turn left onto 15th South and hit the rear of a 2013 Ram driven by Steen Fennern, 70, New Ulm. Damage was light to Ram and light to moderate to the GMC. Both drivers wore seat belts.
• Received a criminal damage to property report at the Brown County Human Services Center, 1117 Center St. at 12:50 p.m. March 4. The caller said several windows were broken last evening. A report for documentation was done.

• Arrested a 26-year-old Hanska man for assault at 200 3rd St. E. at 5:03 p.m. March 4. The victim, a 25-year-old Hanska woman, was not seriously hurt and was arrested for an outstanding Blue Earth County DWI warrant and a Nicollet County theft warrant. A report was sent to the Brown County Attorney’s Office.
• A Hanska resident at 205 Summit Ave. reported the theft of a paint sprayer, phone and tablet, all valued at more than $4,000 at 2:01 p.m. March 5. The resident said the theft happened sometime after Dec. 17, 2020. A report was made for documentation.
