New Ulm Police

• Received a call at 2:26 a.m. Friday of a vehicle all over the road on Highway 14/15 in Nicollet County. Officers stopped the vehicle and talked with the driver, a 36-year-old New Ulm man. Impairment clues were noticed. After failing field sobriety tests and a breath test, the man was arrested and transported to the Brown County Jail. A report went to the New Ulm City Attorney’s Office for consideration of a third-degree DWI charge.

Sleepy Eye Police

• Arrested and transported a 48-year-old Sleepy Eye man to the Brown County Jail for an harassment restraining order violation at 2:28 a.m Saturday near 1st Avenue South and Main Street East. A report went to the Sleepy Eye City Attorney’s Office.
