Brown County District Court

• Tanner J. Marion, 31, of Eau Claire, Wi. was charged Wednesday as a fugitive from justice in another state. A Zoom bail hearing was set for 11:30 a.m. Dec. 30, 2021.

According to court documents, the Brown County Sheriff’s Office learned that Marion is wanted by the Wisconsin Department of Corrections, charged with four felonies — take and drive vehicle; vehicle operator flee/elude officer: forgery-uttering; and resist/obstruct officer-substantial bodily harm.

On Dec. 15, 2021, a warrant was issued for Marion’s arrest by the Wisconsin Dept. of Corrections upon his failure to appear as ordered.

Marion fled Wisconsin for Minnesota where he was arrested and transported to the Brown County Jail on Dec. 12, 2021. Wisconsin court officials have stated they will extradite Marion in the charges.
