Kenneth Wenner, 91, beloved Husband, Uncle, and Brother was called to his eternal resting place on June 6, 2026.
Mass of Christian Burial will be 11:00am Saturday, June 13, 2026 at St. Paul’s Catholic Church, Nicollet with a Knights of Columbus Rosary at 10:30am. Kenneth Joseph entered this world on May 17, 1935 in Mapleton, MN, born to Wendell and Anna (Hiniker) Wenner. He then moved with the family to Oshawa Township, Nicollet County and is a 1955 graduate of Nicollet High School. Kenny married Phyllis Mathiowetz on July 18, 1969 at St. Mary’s Catholic in Sleepy Eye. He worked for ADC in ST. Peter, Nicollet County, and as a custodian at MSU in Mankato and Nicollet High School before purchasing his own truck, to become an Owner/Operator hauling grain; serving the Oshawa Elevator, Nicollet Farmers Exchange, Traverse Elevator, and many individual farmers over the years.
Kenny enjoyed farming, bowling, family gatherings, music, dancing, and food. He was a Devout Catholic serving as a member of the Knights of Columbus, earning his 4th degree.
Kenny is survived by his wife, Phyllis; sister Donna Zins; and many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
He was preceded in death by siblings: Gene (Betty), Marianne (Butch) Sohre, Don (Ruth), Merton (Margaret), Skip (Margaret), twin brother Clete (Marlys), and Wendell (Marlene & Dot); and brother-in-law, Paul Zins.
