STARK — The Stark Longhorns took down the Leavenworth Orioles 11-5 on Tuesday in a Tomahawk East League amateur baseball game on Tuesday.

Adam Sellner earned the win on the mound for Stark, getting nine strikeouts while allowing three earned runs on five hits in six innings pitched. At the plate for the Longhorns, Mason Cox was 3 for 5 with a run scored, while Sean Mathiowetz was 2 for 5 with three RBIs and two runs scored. Dylan Klein added two hits, two RBIs and a run scored for Stark.

Jackson Hurias took the loss for Leavenworth, allowing six earned runs on nine hits. Alex Sellner led the Orioles at the plate, going 3 for 4 with a run scored, while Hurias was 2 for 5 with four RBIs and two runs scored. Jevan Richert added a 2 for 2 effort with an RBI for Leavenworth.

Stark (8-2) travels to Courtland on Friday, July 7. Leavenworth (3-7) travels to Essig on Friday, July 7.
