MANKATO — The Minnesota Valley Lutheran/New Ulm Cathedral track and field teams competed at the Mankato Loyola Invitational at Minnesota State Universtity on Tuesday.

For MVL/NUC, Sam Blomberg won the 55-hurdles in 8.59 and Clare Fischer won the 800-meter run (2:51.48) and the 1,600-meter run (5:51.19).

Sam Halverson won the boys’ high jump (5-feet-10-inches) and Rylee Woller won the girls’ high jump (4-8).

Kaylee Hunter took first in the girls’ long jump (14-9.5) and Will Kaesermann won the boys’ triple jump (37-4.5). Hunter also won the triple jump (32-9).
