Time for Silent Majority to be heard

To the editor:

I recently listened to Trump’s July 14, 2020, Rose Garden speech during what was supposed to be a press conference. He mentioned the “Silent Majority.” I want to encourage those of you who are part of this group to be brave and admit it. After hearing from him what Biden has in mind regarding United States policy, we are in a world of trouble if Trump loses. The media keep repeating the same things they hate about Donald Trump. I think he is a better man than the media say. I believe that in spite of the COVID-19 virus and the Floyd George killing, the United States is much stronger and a better nation than it was four years ago, and for the most part, we have Donald Trump to thank for it. People who support Trump are ridiculed and belittled, so it requires chutzpah to stand for your beliefs, but if Trump loses, we will regret being bullied into submission because we were afraid of a little ridicule.
