New Ulm Police

• Received a email scam/fraud report at 12:57 p.m. Jan. 9 from a 53-year-old New Ulm man who sent nude photos of himself and sent $1,000 in gift cards in an attempt to keep the photos from being posted. A report was done for documentation.

Sheriff’s Office

• Responded to a vehicle in the ditch report without injuries at 6:28 p.m. Jan. 7 at CR 25 and 207th Avenue, Sigel Township. A 22-year-old Springfield female driver was arrested for driving after revocation, no proof of insurance and controlled substance possession. The car, a 1998 Cadillac Seville, was towed to impound.

• Responded to a rollover, vehicle in ditch report without injuries at CR 27/CR 10, Home Township at 9:30 p.m. Jan. 5. A 35-year-old Sleepy Eye woman was driving a 2005 Dodge Durango, left the road on a curve. The truck was towed. A report was done for documentation.

Sibley County

Sheriff’s Office

• Responded to a one-vehicle crash at the intersection of 521st Avenue and 330th Street at 2:14 p.m. Jan. 8. A vehicle driven by Halie Flores, 22, left the road and tipped over on the passenger side. Flores was not injured but had three flat tires from the crash. The vehicle was towed. Lafayette Ambulance and the Winthrop Fire Department assisted.
