New Ulm Police
• Received a school bus stop arm violation report at 4:46 p.m. Oct. 31 at Ashland Road and Maplewood Drive. A 73-year-old New Ulm man denied that the stop arm was extended. Nobody was hurt, no damage reported. A report was sent to the New Ulm City Attorney’s Office.
• Received a theft report at 6:32 p.m. Oct. 31 at B & J Laundromat, 506 Center St. A 30-year-old Sleepy Eye woman said she left an Amazon Fire computer tablet estimated to worth $130 at the laundromat and could not find it when she returned. Police asked for video surveillance to review. A report was done for documentation.
• Received a report of $600 in cash stolen from a residence on the 700 block, Franklin St. s. at 9:12 p.m. Nov. 1. A report was done for documentation.
• Received a theft report at 11:48 a.m. Nov. 1 of an E-bike valued at $1,000 from the 400 block of German St. N overnight. A report was done for documentation. No more information was available.
• Received a theft report of $500 worth of tools at 2:50 p.m. Nov. 1 at Menard’s. The suspect, a 41-year-old Gibbon man was arrested at 8:32 a.m. Nov. 2 after a pursuit that ended at 6th St. S. and Valley. A report including fleeing a peace officer in a motor vehicle, 5th-degree controlled substance possession and theft was sent to the New Ulm City Attorney’s Office.
