New Ulm Police
• Arrested and transported a 49-year-old New Ulm man to the Brown County Jail for domestic assault, malicious punishment of a child and endangering a child at 6:02 a.m. Thursday on Sunrise Drive. A 17-year-old New Ulm boy was injured but medical attention was not sought. Reports went to Brown County Human Services and the Brown County Attorney’s Office.
• A 28-year-old New Ulm man was cited for dog at large at 1:31 p.m. Friday on Payne Street South. A report went to animal control.
• Stopped a vehicle at 10:36 p.m. at Payne St. South and 1st Street. A 27-year-old Sleepy Eye woman was arrested for driving after license revocation for the eighth time since October 2025 plus having no valid license. A report was done for documentation.
• Received a report of seven glass squares vandalized on a public utilities building on 1st Street North at 9:20 a.m. Friday. Police are trying to identify four juveniles found on surveillance video. A damage estimate was not available.
