Brown County Sheriff’s Office
•Did a welfare check at aresidence on CR 29, Milford Township at 9:21 a.m. Monday. A 67-year-old woman was transported to New Ulm Medical Center for possible mental health issues. A report was done for documentation.
• Arrested a 52-year-old female for domestic assault on 100th St., Stately Township at 8:14 p.m. Sunday. Nobody received medical attention. A report was sent to the Brown County Attorney’s Office.
• Received an animal complaint in Hanska at 5:10 p.m. Sunday. A pit bull attacked a black lab dog. The lab was taken to a veterinarian for treatment. A report was sent to the Brown County Attorney’s Office.
New Ulm Police
•Responded to an assaultreport on the 1000 block of North Franklin Street at 12:44 p.m. Monday. A 28-year-old New Ulm man and 26-year-old New Ulm woman were separated. No injuries were reported.
• Received a welfare check request at 6:53 p.m. Sunday. A 36-year-old New Ulm woman went to the New Ulm Medical Center ER voluntarily for mental health observation. A report was sent to Brown County Human Services.
Minnesota State Patrol
•Received a one-vehiclecrash report at 10:48 a.m. Oct. 16 on TH 4 and 750th Street, south of Hector, Martinsburg Township, Renville County. Travis D. Borchert, 31, Faribault, was driving a 1980 Mack straight truck southbound on TH 4, entered the ditch to avoid a collision and rolled. The other vehicle was not hit. Borchert did not wear a seat belt and was treated for a non-life threatening injury at an Olivia hospital. Alcohol was not involved. The Renville County Sheriff’s Office assisted.
