Sibley County Sheriff’s Office
• Received a report at 5:04 p.m. Sept. 4 of kayakers stranded on a tree on the Minnesota River. Deputies located the kayakers and used watercraft to rescue them with help from a Minnesota Department of Natural Resources (DNR) game warden. Assisting were Henderson Fire/Rescue, the Le Sueur County Sheriff’s Office, Minnesota State Patrol and the DNR.
McLeod County Sheriff’s Office
• Responded to a theft report on CR 7 northeast of Stewart at 9:21 p.m. Sept. 6. The case is under investigation.
• Assisted Brown Police with a disturbance on 4th St. N. at 11:48 pm. Sept. 4. A deputy cleared without a report.
