New Ulm Police
• Received a vandalism report at 721 23rd St. N. at 6:55 p.m. Aug. 18. A 82-year-old New Ulm woman confessed to hitting mailboxes with a vehicle. One mailbox will need to be replaced. A report was sent to the New Ulm City Attorney’s Office.
State Patrol
• Received a one-vehicle crash report at 3 p.m. Wednesday on TH 22, near CR 20, Traverse Township, Nicollet County. A 2020 Buick Enclave driven by Joni G. Anderson, 62, St. Peter, was northbound on TH 22, left the road and hit a stop sign. She wore a seat belt and was taken to St. Peter Hospital with non-life threatening injuries. River’s Edge Ambulance and the Nicollet County Sheriff’s Office assisted. Alcohol was not involved.
• Received a two-vehicle crash report at 5:53 p.m. Wednesday on U.S. Highway 212 and Chandler Ave., Glencoe. A 2007 Chrysler Sebring driven by Zackary D. Nelson, 20, Glencoe, was southbound on Chandler Ave. and ran into a 2020 Volvo semi that was stopped at a stop sign. Nelson was taken to a Glencoe hospital with non-life threatening injuries. Glencoe Police and Fire Departments and the McLeod County Sheriff’s Office assisted.
