• Responded to a two-vehicle crash at the intersection of State Highway 4 and Brown County Road 22, Stark Township at 1:46 p.m. Tuesday. A 2023 Ford Transit van driven by Tanar Dean Creech, 29, Belle Plaine, was eastbound on CR 22 when he collided with a 2022 Jeep Wrangler driven by Erika Georgina Castro Serrato, 45, St. James. Both drivers wore seat belts but were transported to Sleepy Eye Medical Center with non-life threatening injuries. Airbags deployed in both vehicles. The Brown County Sheriff’s Office, Sleepy Eye Police and Ambulance and the Minnesota Department of Transportation assisted.
