Brown County Sheriff’s Office
• Received a suspicious activity report at 21 Broadway St., Hanska at 9:02 a.m. June 6. The New Ulm Police K9 unit assisted in the arrest of a 36-year-old Lewiston man and a 31-year-old South St. Paul woman on multiple arrest warrants. The K9 dog alerted on drugs in a vehicle. The man and women taken to the Brown County Jail on methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia possession. A report was sent to the Brown County Attorney’s Office.
New Ulm Police
• Received a disturbance report at 626 Minnesota St. S. at 9:31 p.m. June 5. A resident reported a 20-year-old Redwood Falls man kicked in a door. The suspect was not located. A report was done for documentation.
• Received a vandalism report at 1511 Valley St. S. at 9:49 a.m. June 6. A pickup truck rear window was broken. A half-empty coke bottle was found in the truck box. Damage was estimated at $400-$500. A report was done for documentation.
• Responded to a disturbance report at 12:48 p.m. June 5 at the New Ulm Microtel. A 34-year-old Mankato man was arrested and transported to the Brown County Jail for 5th-degree narcotics and drug paraphernalia possession. A report was sent to the Brown County Attorney’s Office.
Springfield Police
• Received a suspicious activity call at 11:16 a.m. June 4. Police called a Mankato mental health crisis team for a 38-year-old Springfield woman with mental health issues. Nobody was hurt, no damage reported. A report will be sent to Brown County Human Services.
• Received a theft report of an LG television, body wash and trash can at 8:03 p.m. June 5 at 419 Sanborn St. W. Estimated loss was $253.50. A report was sent to the Springfield City Attorney’s Office.
