WILLMAR — The WIllmar Rails defeated the Wabasso Jaxx 7-6 in a Corn Belt League amateur baseball game on Sunday.

Aiden Hagert took the loss for Wabasso, allowing three unearned runs on three hits in 2 2/3 innings. CJ Theis made the start, striking out four and allowing four runs, one earned, on seven hits in six innings. At the plate, Carter Guetter was 4 for 5 with two RBIs and a run scored, while Brooks Baune was 3 for 4 with three RBIs. Theis added two hits and an RBI.

Wabasso (1-9) hosts the Milroy Yankees on Wednesday.
