Minnesota State Patrol

• Responded to a two-vehicle crash report at 6:18 p.m. Thursday at the intersection of State Highway 19 and Sibley CR 17, Arlington Township, Sibley County. A 2005 Chevy pickup driven by Alonso M. Cornejo, 22, San Juan, Texas was southbound on CR 17 when he collided with a 2004 Hyundai Sonata driven by Steve D. Sletten, 65, Marshall, who was eastbound on Highway 19. Sletten was transported to an Arlington hospital with non-life threatening injuries. Cornejo was not injured. Both drivers wore seat belts. Air bags deployed in both vehicles. Alcohol was not involved. The Sibley County Sheriff’s Office and Arlington Ambulance assisted.

New Ulm Police

• Received a vandalism report at 1:12 p.m. Friday at 1518 German St. S. A resident said all four tires on a parked vehicle were slashed overnight.

Sleepy Eye Police

• Served an arrest and detain order on a 45-year-old Sleepy Eye man for failure to report a crash to law enforcement and to the victim and driving without insurance at 9:40 a.m. at 312 4th Ave. S.W. The man paid $500 bail money and a court date was set.
