New Ulm Police
• Received a harassment report at 4:48 p.m. Thursday. Police are investigating a possible Order For Protection violation.
• Received a telephone scam/fraud report at 5:03 p.m. Thursday. A resident sent more than $2,000 worth of gift cards to the scammer. Police continue to investigate.
• Responded to a jail assault at 9:31 p.m. Thursday between an inmate and correctional officer who had minor injuries. A report will be sent to the Brown County Attorney’s Office for charge consideration.
