New Ulm Police

• Responded to a report of a drug deal at 311 Minnesota Street North at 4:08 p.m. Wednesday. A 45-year-old New Ulm man was arrested and transported to the Brown County Jail for alleged felony third-degree and fifth-degree drug possession within the vicinity of public housing. About 1.67 grams of methamphetamine was seized by police. A report for consideration of alleged drug charges on a 54-year-old New Ulm woman went to the Brown County Attorney’s Office.

• Attempted to stop a vehicle for a stop sign violation at Center and Garden Street at 9:08 p.m. Wednesday. Police followed what was believed to be a dark blue or green Hyundai Sonata until it was near the intersection of CR 13 and CR 102, eight miles south of New Ulm. A report was done for documentation.
