New Ulm Police
• A two vehicle accident occurred 11:57 a.m. Thursday at 2403 S. Broadway. A 2019 Dodge pickup was driven by David Nelson, 59, of Hanska was northbound an in the process of making a right hand turn into Maday Motors parking lot, when the pickup collided with a 2016 Crossover/SUV driven by Katie Hesse, 35, of New Ulm. Hesse looked down at her GPS before the crash. She looked up and began to brake before the crash but was unable to avoid hitting the pickup.
The Dodge sustained cosmetic damage to the rear bumper on the passenger side, the Crossover had moderate front end damage.
No injuries were reported.
