Math Counts
The Math Counts State Competition was held Saturday, March 11, with 125 students from 36 schools competing. The competition was held at the Crown Plaza Hotel in Plymouth. Both St. Paul’s Lutheran School and New Ulm Middle School were well-represented in this competition. Nine students, five from St. Paul’s and four from New Ulm Middle School, were among those top 125 in the state. Nathaniel Carlovsky and Ziva Zahrt from St. Paul’s both finished in the top 50.
