Streets a’crawl with Halloween hosts
It was a regular
Monster Mash at
the intersection of
6th South and State
Street as dozens
of trick or treaters
passed by one another.
5th South and State:
South Street is famous for
its dedication to Halloween
decoration. The corner of
5th South and State had
one of the most fearsome
facades
Emmett Platz’s
truck costume came fully
equipment with actual
working headlights, making
him the most visible
trick or treater on State
Street.

South State Street was the place to be for Tricks or Treats. Hundreds of children in costumes roamed the sidewalks from Center to 7th South in search of candy. Trick or Treating began at 5 p.m. but the real crowds did not show up until dusk
