Staff photo by Kevin Sweeney Gallery 512 Boutique is among the businesses shut down by the state’s COVID-19 regulations that will be re-opening Monday under the state’s new relaxed restrictions.

NEW ULM — After being closed for weeks due to Gov. Tim Walz’ executive orders because of COVID-19, Gallery 512 Boutique’s flagship store at 20 N. Minnesota St. will re-open its doors for customers at 10 a.m. Monday, May 18.

Business co-owner Danielle Fischer Marti said the business that features womens’ clothing and accessories will utilize property business re-opening protocols that will be printed outside the front door, on the store website, and on its social media sites.

“We’ll have hand sanitizer throughout the store,” Fischer Marti said. “Social distancing will be mapped out around the store, including directions near cash registers.”

Fischer Marti said store employees will be well-briefed on how to properly re-open the store for business.

Store employees will use a steamer to clean counters between customers who are asked to wait for service counters to be sanitized for each customer.

Anti-viral spray will be used to clean credit card processors and granite counter tops between each customer.

“We’ll ask each customer to use our hand sanitizer when they enter and leave the store,” Fischer Marti said.

Further details can be found on the firm’s website and social media sites including Facebook and Instagram.

In addition, the store will continue it’s curb-side pickup and free delivery when it re-opens.
