WABASSO — Fourth-seeded Wabasso held off fifth-seeded Renville County West on Friday night in a Section 3A, North Subsection volleyball playoff match, winning 25-21, 22-25, 25-21, 25-20.

The Rabbits were led by Alivia Olson’s 15 kills and three blocks, while Avery Carlson had 14 kills, 24 digs, two aces and was 20 for 20 on serves. Natasha Doubler and Camryn Irlbeck each added five kills and three blocks also for Wabasso, while Audrey Johnson had 20 digs, Sara Carlson had 14 digs and Kelsey Frank had 38 set assists.

The Rabbits (18-7) move on to take on top-seeded Minneota at Southwest Minnesota State University in a quarterfinals match next at 5:30 p.m. Tuesday.
