To the editor: I’m happy to have been active in the New Ulm Catholic Diocese, ordained 67 years ago, before Vatican II. I respond to the article printed in the May 2 issue of the New Ulm Journal entitled: “America’s Catholic Church sees an immense shift toward old ways.” I believe the church is not led by conservatives nor liberals. To the editor: A few months ago I needed ER care following a procedure.It was determined I needed to be transferred back to Mayo. The physician informed us that ambulance transport after 10:30 p.m. has been nonexistent for several months and it was up to us to get there. An EMT/medic crisis? This can happen to anyone folks. And, at this moment in time when there is a Grand Canyon of partisan divide, I would like to applaud Speaker of the House, Mike Johnson. His fellow Republican representatives are trying to punish him for doing his job. To the editor: We have more lawlessness in the judicial branch of our country’s government today, which is directly related to the increase of lawlessness in our predominately blue run urban areas, across America. As a parent, I found the most difficulty when trying to settle a dispute between two of my children. I learned that jumping to conclusions was always a failure.
