To the editor:

I would like to share with you what I have learned since the COVID-19 virus has invaded our great country.

I have learned never to take anything for granted, especially not life itself. I learned to appreciate the small things given to me in life that never seemed important to me before.

I learned that nations around the world can work together to help solve this world crisis. I learned that all the people involved with our government can work together to help our country in this time of need.

I learned that some people will make great personal sacrifices to help other people in need. I believe that parents who are spending this extra time with their children will someday recognize that as being a gift.
