New Ulm Police

• Took a report at 6:05 p.m. Monday of a 14-year-old girl being assaulted in German Park. The suspect is a 15-year-old Lafayette girl. The fight was over social media harassment between the two girls. The New Ulm girl suffered bumps on the back of her head. A report was sent to the Brown County Attorney’s Office.

• Assisted Brown County Human Services with a welfare check of a 52-year-old New Ulm woman at 10:32 a.m. Monday. A report went to Human services who will follow up on visit findings.

Minnesota State Patrol

• Responded to a two-vehicle crash with injuries on snow and ice at 5:07 p.m. Tuesday on Highway 15 near 412th Street, Lafayette Township, Nicollet County. A 2015 International semi driven by Kyle Joseph Helget, 40, New Ulm, was southbound on Highway 15 when it collided with a 2017 Volvo semi driven northbound on Highway 15 by Christopher Lee Patton, 50, Cyrus. Patton was transported to New Ulm Medical Center with non-life threatening injuries. Alcohol was not involved. The Nicollet County and Blue Earth County Sheriff’s Offices, Minnesota Department of Natural Resources, Minnesota Department of Transportation and Allina EMS assisted.

Sibley County Sheriff’s Office

• Responded to a two-vehicle crash with injuries in icy conditions on 411th Avenue and 190th Street at 8:38 a.m. Tuesday. Randle King, 49, was westbound on 190th Street when he collided with Gregory Moulton, 53, who was northbound on CR 9. Moulton was transported to an Arlington hospital with minor injuries. Both vehicles were towed due to disabling damage. Arlington Ambulance and the Green Isle Fire Department assisted.
