New Ulm Police
• Received an identity theft report from a 56-year-old New Ulm woman on 3rd South St. at 1:33 p.m. Jan. 3, 2022. The woman’s employer received a fraudulent unemployment claim. No money was exchanged. A report was done for documentation.
• Arrested and transported to jail a 39-year-old New Ulm man for a Brown County probation violation at 1404 German St. S. at 1:53 a.m. Jan. 2, 2022.
• Performed a welfare check at 300 N. Broadway at 1:44 p.m. Jan. 2. Allina Ambulance transported a 69-year-old New Ulm man to New Ulm Medical Center for a mental health hold. A report was done for documentation.
• Observed a vehicle traveling the wrong way on Broadway, stopped the vehicle and arrested a 57-year-old Sleepy Eye man for DWI at Broadway and Center at 1:15 a.m. Jan. 1, 2022. A report was sent to the Brown County Attorney’s Office.

• Responded to a one-vehicle rollover at 6:26 a.m. Jan. 2, 2022 near the intersection of CR 12 and 21 north of Courtland. Ashley Donner, 20, New Ulm, and a passenger, Bailey Pattison, 21, Ponte Vedra Beach, Fl. were transported to New Ulm Medical Center by Allina Medical Transport. Pattison was later transported to Mayo Clinic Health Systems, Mankato, then airlifted to St. Mary’s Hospital, Rochester. The Minnesota State Patrol, Courtland Fire Dept. and Allina Medical Transport assisted.
