New Ulm Police
• Received a two-vehicle crash report Dec. 2 at Highland Ave. and Lee Ave. Nessa A. Peters, 18, New Ulm, was driving a 2002 Ford Explorer southbound, stopped in traffic waiting for a stop sign when Blake Jonathan-Meier Soukup, 17, New Ulm, driving a 2006 Toyota Camry was unable to stop in time and rear-ended the Ford. Damage was disabling to the Toyota and moderate to the rear-end driver’s side of the Ford.
• Received a one-vehicle crash without injuries in the Hy-Vee Foods parking lot at 12:09 p.m. Dec. 6. Kimberly M. Meidl, 49, New Ulm, was driving a 2006 Chrysler 300 that collided with a light pole. Damage was moderate to the front driver side of the car and minimal to the light pole.

Sheriff’s Office
• Responded to a truck-tractor crash without reported injuries on CR 102, Cottonwood Township, at 8:11 p.m. Sunday. Gary Schmid, 44, rural Hanska was driving a 1983 Allis Chalmers tractor pulling an International 8720 plow when he was rear-ended by a Chevy Colorado driven by Ernesto Arizmendi, 51, St. James. The truck was demolished. The plow had significant damage. The tractor was not damaged. Arizmendi wore a seat belt.
Springfield Police
• Responded to a domestic incident on Van Dusen St. W. at 7:48 p.m. Dec. 2 involving 47- and 63-year-old Springfield women, a 63-year-old Springfield man and an alleged suspect, a 23-year-old Springfield woman. Nobody was reported hurt, no damage reported. A report was sent to the Brown County Attorney’s Office.
