State Patrol
• Responded to a two-vehicle crash with non-life threatening injuries on U.S. Highway 212 and Renville CR 16, Melville Township, Renville County at 12:38 p.m. May 22. A 2018 Ford Escape driven by William T. Bade, 45, Elk River, was southbound on CR 16 when it collided with a 1990 Ford Mustang driven by Russell A. Korson, 51, Stewart, who was eastbound on Highway 212. Korson and two passengers, Haley J. Korson, 14, Stewart; and Isabella J. Korson, 11, Stewart, were transported to an Olivia hospital. Airbags deployed in the Mustang. The Renville County Sheriff’s Office, Olivia Ambulance, Bird Island Medical, Hector Fire and Medical responded.
New Ulm Police
• Responded to a domestic call at New Ulm Mobile Village, 2526 Bridge St. S. at 12:08 a.m. May 21 involving an 18-year-old New Ulm female and a 65-year-old New Ulm man. A report was sent to the Committee Against Domestic Abuse and the New Ulm City Attorney’s Office.
• Arrested a 38-year-old New Ulm man at 422 Franklin St. N. at 9:24 p.m. May 21 for failure to appear in court. The man was transported to detox and later to the Brown County Jail.
• Arrested a 30-year-old New Ulm man for DWI after a vehicle stop at 12th St. N. and Garden St. at 1:26 a.m. May 22. The man was transported to jail.
• Transported a 27-year-old New Ulm man with mental health issues from the 1400 block of 7th St. N. to the New Ulm Medical Center at 12:15 p.m. May 22.
Sleepy Eye Police
• Responded to a domestic call involving a Sleepy Eye man and woman at 112 Woodlane Dr. at 12:36 a.m. May 23. Reports were sent to Brown County Human Services and the Sleepy Eye City Attorney’s Office.
Springfield Police
• Responded to an animal complaint at 200 Riverside Ave. at 12:10 p.m. May 23. A dog locked in a hot vehicle was let out of it. A report was sent to the Springfield City Attorney’s Office.
