Brown County Sheriff’s Office

• Received a call at 6:36 p.m. April 24 about a grass fire near 150th Street and CR 8, Mulligan Township. The Comfrey Fire Dept. responded. No further information was available.

• Received a call at 6:13 p.m. April 23 about a civil dispute about property lines at 11410 213th Avenue, Lake Hanska Township. The parties were referred to Bolton & Menk Inc. to do a survey. A report was sent to the Brown County Attorney’s Office.

New Ulm Police

• Stopped a vehicle near Lake Avenue and Village Lane at 3:59 p.m. April 24 regarding Nicollet and Blue Earth County arrest warrants for a 26-year-old New Ulm man. Police didn’t find him at first, but an hour later, received information on his whereabouts and arrested him. A report was done for documentation.

• Arrested and transported to jail a 54-year-old rural Winthrop man for making felony terroristic threats of violence at Garden Street and 5th St. N. at 2:51 p.m. April 23. A report was sent to the Brown County Attorney’s Office.

• Responded to a juvenile trouble report regarding a 16-year-old New Ulm male creating graffiti on playground equipment at Harman Park, 101 Garden St. N. at 4:20 p.m. April 23. A report was sent to the Brown County Attorney’s Office.

• Responded to a driving complaint of a vehicle operating without headlights and being driven erratically near South Park at 12:13 a.m. April 24. A 70-year-old New Ulm man was found to have expired registration and no insurance. A report for review of charges was sent to the New Ulm City Attorney’s Office.
