Brown County Sheriff’s Office

• Responded to a disturbance reported at 6:26 p.m. March 14 at 30318 TH 68, Prairieville Township. A 21-year-old rural Sleepy Eye woman was accused of kicking a hole in drywall and possible criminal damage to property charges. A report was sent to the Brown County Attorney’s Office. No damage estimate was available.

New Ulm Police

• A vehicle was stopped at 1:38 a.m. March 14 at Valley St. and 8th St. S. A 15-year-old New Ulm boy was cited for driving without a license. A report was done for documentation.

• Responded to a domestic call at 308 Front St. S. at 6:57 a.m. March 15. A 24-year-old New Ulm man got into an argument with a 25-year-old New Ulm woman. The man was arrested on a warrant for several previous traffic violations including driving after license revocation. He was transported to the Brown County Jail and later bailed out. A report was done for documentation.

• Responded to a possible domestic assault at 1110 Center at 6:09 p.m. March 12. A 42-year-old New Ulm man was given a voucher to stay at the Colonial Inn. A 47-year-old New Ulm woman left the residence to stay with her son. A report was sent to the Brown County Attorney’s Office for review.

• Responded to a child custody dispute involving a 47-year-old New Ulm man and a 43-year-old New Ulm woman at 800 Jefferson St. S. at 1:47 p.m. March 13. A report was sent to Brown County Family Services.

Springfield Police

• Responded to a disturbance call at 10 Maple St. W. at 11:18 p.m. March 14. Two Springfield men ages 44 and 41 were upset about a 57-year-old Springfield man living in a nearby apartment who was cleaning a carpet. A report will be sent to the Springfield City Attorney’s Office.

Minnesota State Patrol

• Responded to a two-vehicle crash in snow and ice on TH 19 at 381st Avenue, Arlington Township, Sibley County at 10:21 a.m. March 15. A 2015 Chevrolet driven by Omar A. Abdi, 34, Minneapolis, was westbound on TH 19 when it collided with a 2010 Toyota Corolla driven by Normal J. Segler, 67, Henderson, who was eastbound on TH 19. Segler was transported to Ridgeview Medical Center, Arlington with non-life threatening injuries. Alcohol was not involved. Both drivers wore seat belts. The Arlington Ambulance and Fire Dept. assisted on scene.

McLeod County Sheriff’s Office

• Responded to a theft report on 50th St. southeast of Brownton at 5:18 p.m. March 11. Cody Sander, 28, Cosmos, and Daric Rosenau, 37, Atwater, were arrested for probable cause third-degree burglary and possession of burglary tools. The sheriff’s office continues to investigate the case.

• Responded to a damage to property report on Martha Street, Stewart, at 10:04 a.m. March 12. An investigation continues.

• Responded to a suspicious vehicle report on Croyden Street, Stewart at 8:24 p.m. March 12. A deputy talked to an individual and cleared with a report.

• Responded to a fire with the Stewart Fire Dept. on Croyden St. Stewart at 3:44 p.m. March 14. The fire was extinguished. A deputy cleared without a report.
