New Ulm Police

• Arrested and transported a 51-year-old New Ulm woman to the Brown County Jail on a probation violation at 4:43 p.m. Thursday at Brown County Probation. A report was sent to Brown County Probation.

• Arrested and transported a 31-year-old New Ulm man and 30-year-old New Ulm woman to the Brown County Jail at 12:51 a.m. Friday on warrants. A report sent to probation and the Brown County Attorney’s Office includes a 5th-degree drug possession charge on the man.

Minnesota State Patrol

• Responded to a two-vehicle crash at 11:50 a.m. Friday on U.S. Highway 212 at Acorn Ave., Helen Township, McLeod County. Laura Ann Berg, 37, Bird Island, was driving a 2016 Nissan Rogue westbound on Highway 212, attempted to make a U-turn and collided with a westbound 2022 Freightliner Cascadia driven by Charles Joseph Dzurenka, 56, Windsor, Ct. Berg and a passenger, Behlen Dennis Berg, 3, Bird Island, were transported to Glencoe Hospital with non-life threatening injuries. Dzurenka was not injured. Everyone wore seat belts. Alcohol was not involved. The McLeod County Sheriff’s Office, Minnesota Department of Transportation, Plate Fire Dept. and Allina Ambulance assisted.
