New Ulm Police

* Responded to a one-vehicle crash report at 2525 Bridge St. S. at 7:27 a.m. Feb. 11. A 2018 Freightliner semi truck/trailer driven by Ron W. Bion, 49, Rockland, Wi. entered a parking lot and hit a light pole. Truck damage was light. The city light pole was damaged.

Redwood County Sheriff’s Office

• Responded a two-vehicle, rear-end crash report at CSAH 6 and 405th Street, rural Delhi, at 9:41 a.m. Feb. 8. A 2011 Ford F 350 driven by Joshua Peterson, 36, Clarkfield, was stopped in the road to turn left. A 2005 Chevrolet truck driven by Dustin Schweiss, 28, Redwood Falls, attempted to stop and slid on black ice, causing it to rear end the Ford truck while traveling about 45 mph. There was more than $1,000 damage to the Chevrolet truck that was towed by Nelson’s Salvage and Towing due to disabling damage.
