Redwood County Sheriff’s Office

•Received a two-vehiclecrash report at the intersection of CSAH 13 and 300th Street at 9:15 p.m. Friday. A 2015 Ford F150 driven by Emily Nelson, 27, Redwood Falls collided with a 1996 Mercury Sable driven by Kurtis Mathiowetz, 38, Springfield. Mathiowetz was injured. Vehicle damage was moderate to the Ford and severe to the Mercury. Lower Sioux Police assisted. The crash is under investigation.

Renville County Sheriff’s Office

•Received a two-vehicle crash report at the intersection of 810th Avenue and 520th Street, about two miles north of Buffalo Lake in Lake Preston Township at 2:16 p.m. Friday. A 1999 International semi tractor/trailer driven by Felix Papa, 41, Murdock, failed to yield to a 2015 Chevrolet Silverado pickup driven by Sarah Schaffer, 25, Buffalo Lake. Schaffer was transported to Health Partners Olivia with injuries. Both drivers wore seat belts. Buffalo Lake Ambulance, Fire and Police and Hector Police and Fire Departments assisted. The crash is under investigation.

New Ulm Police

•Received a vandalismreport at 1301 Washington St. S. at 5:48 p.m. Friday. A “Work for Peace” sign post was damaged and feces may have been smeared on the sign. Damage was estimated at $20.
