• Received a three-vehicle crash report with non-life threatening injuries at 6:59 p.m. Wednesday on U.S. Highway 212 at Morningside Drive, Helen Township, McLeod County. A 2010 Toyota Prius driven by Ismail D. Khayre, 54, St. Joseph, was westbound on Highway 212 and a 2005 Lexus ES 330 driven by Jolaine M. Bowman, 57, Plato, was southbound on Morningside Drive, attempting to turn onto Highway 212 when the vehicles collided at the intersection. The impact pushed the Toyota across Highway 212 where it collided with a 2016 Ford Expedition driven by George P. Polingo, 61, Litchfield. Bowman, George and Marjories Strey-Polingo, 63, Liktchfield, and a Toyota passenger, Salma A. Farah, 21, Marshall, were transported to a Glencoe hospital. Glencoe Police and Fire and the McLeod County Sheriff’s Office assisted.
