New Ulm Police
• Assisted a 46-year-old New Ulm man in need of gasoline money with $20 from the Salvation Army Friday at the Brown County Law Enforcement Center.
• Responded to a domestic dispute at 1:02 p.m. on the 400 block, 7th Street N. A 27-year-old New Ulm man who had been drinking and on probation refused to provide a breath sample that his probation officer requested. The man was transported to detox.
• Responded to a two-vehicle crash at 1st South and Franklin Streets at 1:24 p.m. Friday. Angela Bushard, 39, of 904 S. Franklin, was traveling north on Franklin in a 2017 Ford Escape. Adam Arndt, 21, of 112 S. Jefferson, was traveling east 1st South in a 1992 Volvo. The two cars collided in the intersection. There was major damage to the Escape, and minor damage to the Volvo.
