New Ulm Police
• Received a two-vehicle crash report without injuries at North Garden Street and U.S. Highway 14 at 1:16 p.m. Friday. A 2014 Freightliner truck driven by Craig M. Lund, 47, New Ulm, was in the turn lane facing north on Garden Street, approaching Highway 14 when a a northbound 2003 Buick Regal driven by Donald J. Tauer, 80, New Ulm, turned in front of the truck. The front of the truck hit the driver’s side of the car. The car had severe damage on the entire driver’s side. The truck was not damaged. Both drivers wore seat belts.
