Better Breathers Club of New Ulm

NEW ULM — The October meeting of the Better Breathers Club of New Ulm will feature a presentation from Kelly Beneke, PharmD and Charlie Sieberg, PharmD on “Medications for COPD and Asthma.”

The presentation will help participants understand the differences between some inhalers and medications, understand how to use inhalers correctly, and know the importance of being up-to-date on vaccines.

The meeting will be held Thursday, October 17, from 2 to 3:30 pm at the New Ulm Medical Center Auditorium on the third floor. For closest entry, park on the 3rd floor parking lot at rear of hospital off North 5th Street or enter main hospital or clinic entrances and request wheelchair assistance if needed.

German Speakers Club

NICOLLET — The New Ulm Deutscher SprachKlub will meet Oct. 20, at St. Paul’s Catholic Church in Nicollet at 411 5 St. This will be a joint meeting with the Mankato area German Speaking Club.

As always all are welcome, proficient or not in the language. The group’s purpose is always to have fun. There is no fee. The goal is to have fun and facilitate the language and culture. For more info. call 507-354-4745.
