Demolition of the Farmers Cooperative of Hanska (FCH) elevator began Wednesday. A wrecking ball began knocking down the grain silo in the afternoon. The demo comes in the wake of a grain explosion that occurred at the elevator on June 1. FCH does intend to rebuild the bins on the location.
