Area roundup: Madelia baseball improves to 9-0

LATE TUESDAY PREP BASEBALL MADELIA 15, HERON LAKE 1 (5 INNINGS) HERON LAKE — Madelia routed Heron Lake-Okabena 15-1 on Tuesday in a nonconference baseball game. Madelia was led by Noel Davila, who was 2 for 2 with a double and three runs scored, while Miah Garza was 2 for 3 with a double and three RBIs, Evan Coil was 2 for 3 with three RBIs and Bryce Borkenhagen was 2 for 4 with an RBI and four runs scored.
