SLEEPY EYE — Sleepy Eye St. Mary’s downed Cedar Mountain 25-23, 21-26, 22-25, 25-17, 15-11 in a Tomahawk-Valley Conference, Tomahawk Division volleyball match on Tuesday.

Morgan Mathiowetz led the Knights with 26 kills and 29 digs, while Reese Hoffmann had 18 kills and 19 digs. Josie Helget had 59 set assists and 12 digs, while Natalie Fischer had 21 digs.

Kendra Erickson led the Cougars with 12 kills, 15 digs and 14 set assists, while Reagyn Kleinschmidt had 11 kills, 16 set assists and 10 digs. Aubrey Steffl had 12 kills and 28 digs, and Brynn Hoffbeck had 23 digs. Cloey Wildt had eight kills and 16 digs.

St. Mary’s (20-4, 6-2) hosts New Ulm Cathedral on Monday. Cedar Mountain (14-11, 5-3) hosts Nicollet on Friday.

Wabasso 3, Springfield 1

SPRINGFIELD — Wabasso defeated Springfield 22-25, 26-24, 25-16, 25-11 in a Tomahawk-Valley Conference, Tomahawk Division volleyball match on Tuesday.

Jasmine Novotny had eight kills and 15 digs for the Tigers, while Teagan Steffl had 10 kills and seven digs. Kendall Krueger had seven kills, nine digs and three aces, while Emma Hauger had four kills and eight digs.

No statistics were reported for Wabasso.

Wabasso (18-9, 7-1) hosts Renville County West on Monday, while Springfield (4-16-1, 1-7) plays at Windom Area on Monday.

St. Clair 3, MVL 0

ST. CLAIR — St. Clair swept Minnesota Valley Lutheran 25-13, 25-21, 25-19 in a South Central Conference volleyball match on Tuesday.

Jenna Bates led the Chargers with 12 kills and nine digs, while Marley Schauer had eight kills. Olivia Hammer had five kills and eight digs, and Avery Freier had 29 set assists, five digs and two aces.

MVL (3-19, 1-9) hosts Sleepy Eye on Thursday.

Cleveland 3, Sleepy Eye 0

SLEEPY EYE — Cleveland swept Sleepy Eye 25-11, 25-17, 25-10 in a Tomahawk-Valley Conference crossover volleyball match on Tuesday.

Sam Price led Sleepy Eye with 13 kills, while Paige Haala had three kills and seven digs.

Sleepy Eye (11-11-1) travels to Minnesota Valley Lutheran on Thursday.

Maple River 1

ARLINGTON — Sibley East defeated Maple River 25-10, 18-25, 25-14, 25-15 in a South Central Conference volleyball match on Tuesday.

Brianna Kettner led the Wolverines with 14 kills and 16 digs, while Rachelle Wear had 11 kills and five blocks. Abby Kuehn had seven kills and two blocks, while Olivia Halquist had 36 set assist sand 12 digs. Allie Servus had 12 digs.

Sibley East (7-14, 3-7) hosts Tri-City United on Thursday.
