Hoffer and Heckendorf finish record-breaking careers with All-UMAC honors

ST. PAUL — Lisa Hoffer and Jordyn Heckendorf capped off their Martin Lutheran College softball careers by being named to the All-Upper Midwest Athletic Conference First Team on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Hannah Rassat was selected as the MLC representative for the Individual Sportsmanship Award.

Hoffer finished the 2024 season batting .420 with 42 hits, 28 RBIs and 17 runs, while Heckendorf batted .458 with 44 hits, 11 RBIs and 34 runs.

The seniors provided plenty of firepower for MLC not only this season but throughout their time in a Knights’ uniform, and left the diamond among the top in numerous single-season and career school records.
