New Ulm’s Ethan Schmidt competed in Maple Grove at Rush Creek’s Mac 9 Par-3 course Monday, August 9. This was part of the Minnesota Junior Golf Mini Tour (7-9-years old) group. Schmidt’s attempt to three-peat fell short as he earned second place honors shooting a 35 (+8) for the tournament, two strokes off the leader.
