New Ulm wins 1 of 3 in Tracy wrestling tournament

Hunter and Cole Ranweiler each get 50th career pin

TRACY — The New Ulm wrestling team picked up one overall win in tournament action Saturday at the Tracy Memorial Center.

The Eagles defeated Adrian 37-28 but fell to the 16-3 Tracy-Milroy-Balaton/Westbrook-Walnut Grove 55-21 and MAHACA 34-29.

Three wrestlers were 3-0 on the day for the Eagles.

Hunter Ranweiler was 3-0 with three pins for New Ulm. He also picked up his 50th career pin, along with Cole Ranweiler, who also got his 50th career pin.

Sean Howk and Tanner Stark also went 3-0 on the day.

The Eagles wrestle in a quadrangular against Canby, Redwood-River Valley and Yellow Medicine East at Redwood Valley High School on Friday.
