NEW ULM – Waseca edged New Ulm on Friday in a Big South Conference girl’s soccer match.

The Bluejays scored the lone goal midway through the first half. Waseca had a total of eight shots on goal while the Eagles had five shots on goal.

Emily Schotzko had seven saves.

New Ulm (1-3) will face Mankato East at 5 p.m. on Monday at the Martin Luther College soccer field.
