To the editor:

I would like to thank the Brown County Humane Society (BCHS) and especially Theresa Grams for their dedication to animals in need.

Theresa went out of her way last week to come to our home and pick up a mother cat who was very close to having her babies.

It was obvious the cat had been dropped off earlier this year by an uncaring owner, as she had her front claws removed. I took the time to make sure she was fed adn watered. Knowing I was not able to care for the mother cat and kittens, I called the Humane Society.

Consequently, there is now one very protective mother of five kittens living in a compfortable space at the BCHS.

This organization is well deserving of your donations.
