Pro-Abortion vs. Pro-Life

To the editor:

Over the past two weeks, there were two very different marches that took place in Washington D.C. The Left-leaning Women’s March on 1/21, insisted that the administration was hurting women. But, as most Americans agree, abortion hurts women more. Family Research Council reports that eight in 10 Americans believe it is entirely possible to have laws that protect both the health and well-being of the woman and the life of the unborn. President Trump is here to protect women and children from the brutality of abortions.

When the Women’s March found out that a pro-life group called the New Wave Feminists wished to partner, they were removed as a sponsor. The Women’s March claims to be inclusive and accepting. How hypocritical! In their press release they said, “The Women’s March platform is pro-choice as clearly stated in our Unity Principles. We look forward to marching on behalf of individuals who share the view that women deserve the right to make their own reproductive decisions.” Although all people have a right to demonstrate, it turned out to be more a Pro-abortion rally than anything else. It was a rally in favor of being allowed to kill and murder unborn children.

The Journal on Jan. 25 had an attendee report that “respect and kindness were two huge themes” of the Women’s March. Not only was there a lack of respect in the far-left liberal Democrats’ protests on inauguration day with about 200 people arrested, but it also was displayed in various ways as part of the Women’s March. The raunchy, vulgar speeches by Madonna and Ashley Judd were despicable, done with young children in the audience. FOX News also reported that some of the signs carried by the Women’s March were too bad to be shown.

What a refreshing difference for the March for Life on 1/27! This was the 44th consecutive March for Life since Roe vs Wade made abortions legal, with an estimated loss of 38 million lives since 1973 through abortions. This year the highest elected official ever attended in the person of Vice President Mike Pence. As Pence said in his speech, “Life is winning again in America.” The appointment and confirmation of a conservative, constitution-abiding, Supreme Court, justice will be the best thing for our country’s moral well-being.

All Americans should look forward to President Trump’s signing of the No Taxpayer Funding for Abortion Act. We should all look forward to the defunding of Planned Parenthood’s (PP) $550,000,000 in taxpayer funding so that PP cannot continue to dismember, poison, and starve to death 887 preborn children each day with our taxpayer money, fudging aside. PP’s president claimed that PP provides necessary prenatal care. WRONG! Live Action investigators contacted all 41 PP affiliates in the U.S., reaching out to 97 facilities and discovered only FIVE offered any sort of prenatal care at all. The March for Life demonstrated real civility.

The Journal seems to be joining the far-left liberal media with disproportionate coverage of the two marches and not being fair and balanced. I’m looking forward to The Journal soliciting someone who attended the March for Life event to give their report also.
