NEW ULM–Steven R. “Jet” Schaefer, 74, of New Ulm passed away Tuesday, April 23, 2024 at the New Ulm Medical Center in New Ulm. Mass of Christian Burial will be 11 a.m. Wednesday, May 1, 2024 at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Searles. Burial will follow in the New Ulm Catholic Cemetery in New Ulm. Visitation will be from 4-7 p.m. Tuesday, April 30, 2024 at the Minnesota Valley Funeral Homes – North Chapel. A full obituary will be featured in Saturday’s edition of The Journal.
